Understanding The Way Social Bookmarking Is Used To Find Search Information

Friday, December 18th, 2009

There are always trends that develop on the internet, currently social bookmarking is very popular. It is a simple way that web users can manage, share, rate, and organise web sites and web pages. Many people want to share web content with their friends, with bookmarking you can cut out the time and hassle that comes with long downloads and uploads.

It is easy to bookmark a site. Most of the websites that have large numbers of hits already have bookmarking links embedded. By clicking on these links you will be bookmarking that site. After you have clicked you can mail the page URL to a friend or acquaintance as well as add comments and a description on the merits of the website.

There is no limit to the number of pages you can bookmark. It can often become an addictive pastime. Many companies also now understand the power of social bookmarking as a marketing tool. If you have a product of service to sell online you can create dedicated web pages and links to bookmarking sites so that visitors can post their opinions on the merits of your company and website. The internet is now the best way to reach potential customers.

Most internet users log on to search engines almost every day. They are usually thought of as the best way to find information or knowledge. But did you know that the results pages for searches are not displayed by popularity or visitor numbers? Instead there are various factors which determine search engine placement.

The best way you can locate the most popular web pages for certain search terms is to use the main social bookmarking sites. As these sites allow you to review and rank pages you will then be able to see which sites have rave reviews when doing a web search. There is no longer any need to trawl through lots of search results that may offer a poor service or that are hard to navigate.

As with all online applications social bookmarking is still evolving. At present it is possible to tag web pages with information when bookmarking. These tags are not yet standardized; this means that there can be a lack of structure if you search relative to tags.

There is no reason why bookmarking sites are going to stop being popular. Every day more people and companies are signing up to use their services.

social bookmarking is a hot topic now. You need to learn about all the different pages and decide which are best for you. Find out about many bookmarks and how you can use them to your benefit now!

Get What You Want A Lot Faster With Social Bookmarking

Tuesday, December 15th, 2009

There can be times when you use the internet and are looking for references to a certain site and just can’t seem to find what you are looking for. This is when social bookmarking could be of use to you. It is basically an overview of what is contained in the resources so that before you decide whether to continue further you will know what is contained. You are able to share any bookmarks with other people who are within your network or let anyone who wishes benefit.

To make the job easier you are also able to add links that may be of use to the person who finds you bookmark. If you decide to have web feeds this will also help anyone reading including yourself letting you know as to whether the resources are still available or whether there has been any change which will save you waiting for information to download if it is not relevant to what you need.

For ease of returning to the bookmarks you and others are able to save them, as well as for ease of reference and sharing they can even be e mailed. The information that is contained within each bookmark is called metadata.

Metadata is the technical name for the content. It is a way of letting others know what is within the site or download so that they are able to save time and avoid confusion. Rather than having complexed jargon you can get straight to the information that you need without fuss.

There may be a specific group of people that you wish to share the information with. This will mean that if there is something you are not ready to share you are able to keep the information private for as long as you wish.

There are some things that you are not able to explain well using words alone so you do have options as to how you wish to display the metadata. This can be done as well as through typed words by using a video, even music. If you are trying to explain a landscape or some kind of art you will also be able to use picture forms if you wish or charts that will make the explanation easier to understand.

The popularity of using this form of seeking what you need is mainly down to the fact it is all done by another person. This will allow you to get another humans perspective on the content which a lot of the time is more accurate than anything you would find by using a search engine alone. If you have in the past been looking for something you can find that similar words are also displayed, or the same words with many different meanings. Metadata makes it so much easier to locate the right source of information.

This is not the case with social bookmarking as you are able to read what other human beings have written, therefore you have no need to actually enter the site or download information that you may need in a hurry. This is because you will already have an overview of its contents which allows you to make an informed decision on what you wish to do next.

A fantastic way to advertise products or names is to use bookmarks. Use of social bookmarking is a hot topic today, and to multiply business you should learn more!

It Is A Good Idea To Find Out More About Social Bookmarking Benefits And Downsides

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

The concept of social bookmarking revolves around being able to save your bookmarks to a public online website and also to add tags to the saved bookmarks. The tags used are keywords that the user can create and define. Bookmarking is a common concept that every internet user uses and revolves around saving the address of one or more website in order to access those addresses at a later time.

If you wish to create a number of social bookmarks you will have to join up with a social bookmarking website which will then let you store your bookmarks and add tags according to your preferences and then specify whether the bookmark is to be used publicly or simply is a private bookmark. In most cases, sites that provide you with bookmarking facilities will ensure that the bookmarks are always working and this is done through conducting periodic checks.

The entire social bookmark concept began quite recently and it started out with sites such as Simpy and also with del-icio.us. Once these sites succeeded it did not take long before other sites opened up and soon it became a mini-revolution. Such sites help users to collect resources which can be shared further.

Social bookmark sites have opened many new doors to how information can be organized and it also ensures better categorization of resources. All that you need to do is save whichever links to a web page that you want to reuse in future.

In most cases the bookmarks are public though you have the option of saving them privately in which case you can share these bookmarks with certain people or groups of persons and they can shared within a network or even as combination of domains - both private and public.

Normally, a site offering social bookmark services asks users to organize bookmarks through use of tagging in an informal manner and this is of course different to how browsers ask you to store your bookmarks.

Social bookmarking systems work better than conventional resource location as well as classification applications including search engine spiders. For the end user this concept is very useful as they can easily gain access to sets of bookmarks from a whole variety of computers and they can also easily organize voluminous bookmarks that can then be shared among their contacts.

The trouble of course is that the keywords that people use have not been standardized and it is also easy to create wrong tags, especially when you misspell the tags. And what’s more the tags can have many meanings which lead to obscurity and little clarity. However, despite these downsides the concept of social bookmarks is something that provides much for everyone to benefit from.

Do you like to use bookmarks? It’s nice to have your favorite sites neatly in one place so we don’t have to search for them time and again. But did you know you can save your bookmarks on a social bookmarking site? Find out about this exciting new trend!

Why Articles Will Always be a Great Form of Traffic and Exposure

Monday, September 21st, 2009

One of the most asked questions online is whether or not articles still work as a form of SEO, brand name exposure and overall marketing. For so long people have been using articles to increase their search positions from the links that they are able to generate. A huge amount of big name optimisers constantly say that it no longer works.

But putting it simply article marketing is still one of the most effective forms of online advertising. There is one reason why article directories still rank quite high and it simply boils down to offering unique content that search engines crave.

If a webmaster is taking the time to produce some great and unique content for the web then why should they not be rewarded? They are basically establishing themselves as an authority figure in their niche. As well as this they are also helping other people when it comes to educating themselves.

The only thing I would say is be careful where you submit too although article directories still work there are some directories that could be classed as a bad neighbourhood. This could be because of many reasons, they could simply be listing nothing but duplicate content, or have no moderation in place, so they will be open to spammers. Besides from this they could have also been hit for selling links if that is something that they practice.

But summing up article marketing is by all odds one of the better ways to establish a new site, build a brand and build exposure. Just make sure that you are creating unique content and your rewards will be great. The saying content is king was created for a specific reason and that was because it actually works.

Affiliate Classroom 2 - An Affiliate With SEO Talents Wins

Saturday, September 19th, 2009

Understanding how to hunt down the most profitable affiliate programs on clickbank or commission junction is one skill. Though, unless you can back that with robust SEO talents, you are not going to struggle against the top Internet marketers today.  Affiliate Classroom 2.0 tries to combine them both.

Lets look at the points that separate an affiliate with search engine optimization skills from one whom is presently not spending the time to learn SEO. An affiliate with SEO abilities will:

- Use SEO for Firefox to check the rankings of each site found from the keyword list
- Monitor site traffic and preferred pages using Google analytics
- Run organic SEO techniques until the web page ranks higher than competitors using popular keywords
- Constantly add new blogs and article pages that continue diverting traffic to a landing page
- Be consistently aware that the pages have to be in the top ten to twenty results on Google and Yahoo

SEO strategies succeed in permitting high volumes of traffic to pass thru site pages so maximizing the CTR ( Click through Rate ). This is the first step towards an effective plan from Affiliate Classroom 2 that targets high conversion rates.

High rankings on the search engines simply mean that a possible consumer is rather more likely to click through to your website. This is why ranking high on the top engines is crucial to an SEO plan. This can be complimented by trying email marketing. Internet marketers whom use email campaigns will plan out a baiting technique e.g. Offering free things in exchange for visiting a site or awakening curiosity around a topic making a buzz on the internet.

PPC ( PPC ) campaigns like Google Adwords can be expensive though if the keywords are robust, you will see a listing in the paid ad columns on Yahoo and Google. The experienced affiliate with search engine skills will be using these as frontline campaigns for a high ROI. As an example, a sale off the back of a clickthrough can result in being paid up to 80% of the advertisers cost.

The flip side is that even if your internet site is receiving streams of traffic daily, unless it is converting traffic i.e. visitors are buying then the absence of cash being generated can send an Affiliate Classroom 2 SEO plan to the trash. Its a good idea to enrol on courses from experienced marketers so that you can follow their steps on how they did it and simply emulate their methods. The best promoting course right now is called Wealthy Affiliate and is strongly recommended if you want to join the ranks of the top net marketers.

To summarise :

1. Learn to select the best key phrases
2. Learn how to turn on conversions
3. Submit articles about your product to high ranking directories like ezinearticles.com with your web site URL in the bio
4. Link to heavy traffic relevant sites
5. Submit your internet page URL to high traffic directories

Become a successful affiliate with search engine optimization skills, and have fun.

Automated Marketing Strategies For Newbies

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

Marketing on the Internet can be a brutal and vicious experience as you may well know. Making the right decision on how to go about doing your task can sometimes mentally exhaust ones mind. The first thing you need to do is figure out what type of marketing you want to do, then find the right tool to accomplish this task and just stick with it. Don’t let your mind play tricks on you from staying focused.

Although this sometimes may seem difficult. Don’t worry, just set your mind at ease and stay focused at the task at hand. I know I’ve been there. I always thought I had to do everything at one time and all I ended up doing was getting confused and not accomplishing anything. I’ve wasted a lot of valuable time wondering and pondering to much when I should have just stayed focused and been more productive. Here’s what I’m talking about.

When marketing a website or blog there are really only four major marketing strategies. Article marketing, send to RSS feeds, send to social booking marking sites such as Facebook, My Space etc. and submit to major web 2.0 sites such as Wordpress, Hubpages, Squidoo etc.. If you do all these things you will create 1000’s of backlinks to your sites and can make a pretty good living for yourself.

This may seem like a lot of and trouble, but if you just take one step at a time it will be well worth your time and effort. It doesn’t really matter what order you do them in, but I tend to do the RSS feeds and social booking sites first because they don’t take as much thought and they take considerably less time then the other two procedures, and I like to get something out there as quickly as possible to start building those backlinks.

These are all free ways of gaining traffic and backlinks to your site, so I would suggest investing a little money to make your life easier by getting some automation tools to help speed up the process. Automation is the key in today,s marketing world and you will be left behind if you don’t use them. Getting the right tools can literally save you hours and weeks of precious time so you can move onto your next project. If your on a low budget then just get one tool at a time, eventually you will have everything you need in your arsenal to complete your all your marketing tasks.

Right now I am only using 4 tools out of the thousands that are out there. I have spent months researching and testing different ones and I feel I am using the best products out there for the money. Even if I had an unlimited supply of advertising capitol the only thing I would do differently would be to ad one more product to my list. Other then that I am totally satisfied with the results my tools give me. They work!.

The tools I use are very reasonable in price. One of them is a monthly subscription of $67 dollars, One is absolutely free and the other two only cost me a little under $200 for the both of them. That is pretty cheap seeing I get thousands of backlinks from them and can keep using them over and over again for different projects. Even though I didn’t get them all at one time they were definitely worth the wait. I am now seeing success.

So what this all boils down to is, you can start seeing success in you ventures if you put your heart into it and be patient. Stay focused and don’t let your mind be distracted on every new baby that comes on the market. Find something that works for you and your budget and stick with it. You may run into some learning curves, but face them head on, jump over that hurdle and move on. If you do these things you will have success.

This just goes to show you that the tools I use must be doing something right if you are reading this article. Take the time to take a look at them at www.bestarticlesubmitters.com

Traffic Android Software - WARNING This New Tool Automates Your Visitor Traffic

Thursday, August 14th, 2008

Traffic Android Software Tool is a downloadable desktop that will revolutionize traffic getting yada yada yada.

I’m not going to b.s. you here and say “this $1,000 tool will make you millions”

First of all the tool won’t cost anywhere near that much. It’s going to be a much more affordable investment for you.

Secondly, the software is a powerful automated link builder which sits right on your desktop.

You can do things like:

-bookmark your best quality content posts at your favorite sites

-supports over 20 sites currently with more being built in

-ability to schedule natural link building where you set it to give you 2-3 backlinks per day

-ability to have a couple different accounts at various services so you can maintain multiple niche websites (don’t abuse this and spam the services or your software gets taken away and you’ll stand in front of the firing squad)

Ok, that was a little over dramatic but you have to respect powerful tools and not spam or else the tool/technique goes bye bye for everyone.

A small shortcut like that isn’t worth it for the rest of us.

The tool is automated and you can build a couple different sites in the meantime instead of spamming only 1 site or 1 post.

Build a good quality site, setup your scheduler, let traffic android run in the background like your greatest unpaid slave who never complains and always does what you tell it to, all the while building powerful backlinks to your site in a way and speed which google absolutely loves.

This is without doubt the way to go here. And who said slavery was dead. Human slavery is gone but software slavery is only beginning.

This tool won’t make you millions by itself. But when you get it, do some well placed business strategy mixed with just a little touch of planning and effort and this tool will automate most of the drudgery which website promotion can be.

And maybe the coolest thing about it is you let it run in the background (your system tray if you’re a propeller head techie and want to get specific) while you spend more time with your family or playing video games.

Traffic Android is the ‘bees knees’ whatever that means. I just know it’s been working well for me and my friends who’ve been using it and it will work well for you.

One of my friends is an seo expert whose been in the seo game for 9 years and he raves about the Traffic Android software tool being the best he’s used.

So check out Traffic Android today. It might be just what you’ve been looking for.
